Renovation and addition of preservation worthy building in the Rosenvænget quarter in Østerbro. With respect for the existing building, the era it was build it and the materials, we succeeded in gently renovating the building and adding modern elements also.
The addition managed to connect the main house and the porter’s lodge in an elegant way, with a subtle shingle-clad structure. The modern shingles are made of slate and thus elegantly frames the bricks of the old house. Furthermore the old building had bay windows and roof lights added in certain places, to enhance the lighting balance.
