A new showroom for a first class automobile company in Northern Sealand.
The design aims at creating a building that expresses both velocity and exclusiveness at the same time. With a simple concept the logical box structure in divided into four parts, two main parts for showroom and workshop and then support space for offices and reception. A car sales building is like a machine that has to work optimally, with the traffic of cars coming in and out of the showroom and the workshop. These functions are interlocked and the placement of them gives a natural layout to the building. The layout is a square, which is split in the middle. Two of the parts are being lifted up, to make way for an entrance and at the opposite side, a ramp to the underground parking space. Inside the building that provides a ramp for exhibiting the cars.
